Let's talk about bananazzz 香蕉人

Disclaimer: You do not need to agree with my theories and I would welcome (and feel honoured) if you would like to debunk all my ideas. I got inspired my a friend, which I call him the "Absolute Banana". This idea will be discussed further in the article. :)

Definition of Banana
Banana, in general is a fruit, the yellow slimy fruit we see in tropical countries. *side track: just if you don't know, 7-eleven sells his super quality Dole Banana for RM1. It's really good fruit! :D Buy one and stay healthy peeps!* However, the banana that I'm trying to talk about is those Chinese that don't know how to speak their mother tongue. Why they're called banana? Very simple! Banana is yellow in the outside but white in the inside, just like them where they looks Chinese with their yellow skin but they talk like a white. :)

Categories of Banana people:

1. Absolute Banana
Absolute bananas are those which couldn't speak and listen to any Mandarin and dialects at all. Other than "Wo Ai Ni" [I Love You] and "Wo bu zhi dao" [I don't know], they basically knows nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! They don't watch any TVB dramas or know anything about Chinese culture. Most of the time, their parents are bananas themselves too, but most probably does not include in this category. Absolute bananas can be seen as knowing nothing about being a Chinese. There are a White-man living in a Yellow-man's body.

2. Normal Banana
Normal bananas are those that know a bit of everything. They may know how to listen to some Mandarin or any dialects. Most of these bananas went to Kebangsaan schools. So, they only know English and BM. Grandparents might only speak in dialects and aunties will be talking in dialects during family gathering such as Chinese New Year. So, throughout the years, they get a hint of what people are trying to mean out of their talking in Mandarin or dialects. Most of the bananas are in this category (I hope), so they're normal bananas.

3. Half Banana
Half bananas are those who speaks a bit of Mandarin or a bit of dialects (to some extent, fluent enough to make a conversation). Some of this type of bananas are unfortunate to get a Chinese education but still was able to learn some mother tongue throughout the years. They may not be as fluent as those learnt it properly, but they know a bit more than the other 2 categories of bananas. *applause*

So friend,
which category you belong to? I hope I didn't insult anybody. This distinction is just an analysis of mine. Some might ask, why we need Chinese when English is the international language? Yup, I agree with you that English is the most commonly spoken language. Nevertheless, I am proud to be a Chinese that speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka. I can say I'm proud to be a Chinese. I'm not saying being a banana is a sin or something, I'm just trying to define how westernised some of the Chinese are today.

That tonight is a good night with great people :D

Went dinner with 4 awesome people today. Just a random dinner, like I told Miss. E. Chin, 'just do dinner for the sake of dinner'. It turned out greater than I thought it'll be, as we all shared our dreams and thoughts about life with each other.

Just to start off, I must say the place E.Chin recommended was just such a cozy and lovely place to be. The food was good and the price was even better. I just felt in love with the place with it's romantic jazz music and the ikea-like lighting. XD

Roast Beef Sandwhich - RM 7.50. Hot Mocha - RM 7.50
Total Bill = RM 15 nett
Food quality: Good. :D

Anyway, what really made my night was really the accompany of my beloved friends. We was technically there to celebrate 2 of my friend's birthday, with didn't really celebrated as in cut cake or giving present, but was really just to spent some quality time together with each other.

After dinner, the conversation somehow turned into a sharing session about our life and dreams. I didn't really know what exactly my dream is, until I truly needed to figure out an answer. Now, if you ask me to repeat what I've shared, I might not be able to tell you as good as what I did, but I still know one fact very well, I want to be successful in life, like really successful.

What is success to me? It need not be as rich as a women owning a Lamborghini, driving it down the city or having a mansion. I would consider myself being successful, if I can truly live a life that can impact others, giving back to society, that have been giving me so much all these years. I must say I haven't lose all my hope in my country, Malaysia. For the fact that I'm still acknowledging Malaysia is my country shows that I still love this country, right? As a Malaysian, I'm sure everyone of us is disappointed by certain things- the politics, the racial tension, the nation development, etc, etc...... Nevertheless, it's such a beautiful country, isn't it, my friend? The people are just so lovely and kind. The food just so beautiful that you'll miss it after 2 weeks away from it. So going back to my point of giving back to society, yes, I haven't give up all my hope in this country and I have so much that I can give back to the society. Will I be able to give all out and do it? I don't know. I really rest my life upon God's hand and truly believe that one day, I'll learn what my calling truly is. Till then, I'll just learn every single lesson from the people I met everyday.

What was amazing about tonight was the pleasure to listen to other people's dream in life. I shall not share it here but it's been thought provoking for me, for me to ponder upon what's life all about and what I REALLY want to do in life, my life. For once, you really need to put your self on the centre spot light and think, what role you want to play in society? Like William Shakespeare said, everyone is a role in a play as life is just like a play. (sorry, don't quote me for this, that's all I remember from the very lovely poem that I can't even remember the name now.... literature class? epic fail!)

There goes some pictures of those awesome people! XD

O, btw, Mr. J and Miss M, I'm still so amazed that you both can blog so frequent and blog so well! *thumbs up* I always end up losing my thoughts and emo-ness half way through my post! :s That explains why I rarely blogs.... haha....

Messy Thoughts

I have 10 thousand different tweets that I wanna tweet about it.

Possible/ Potential Tweets:

"I need to learn how to book a flight ticket."
- Just realise I don't even know how to help me friend to book a flight on Air Asia when she needed it the most.

" I hate thunder."
- The thunder was real loud and I remembered I told someone that I'm afraid of thunder last time.

"I don't feel the burning, because you're not with me."
- People's thoughts: It this about a guy? Or maybe life?
- My true thought: I don't feel the burning sensation after eating nasi lemak because the person which gives me extra sambal is not with me.

" I saw super scary lightning."
- I'm in the library now and seeing the thunder and rain outside. Scary.

" I would go the extra mile with you, because I love you."
- A love dedication to people I loved. I will go all the way for people, especially my friends, because you're all that meant to me in life.

"Rejoice, because she's in heaven now."
- It's so difficult to say this when you love one passed away and when all the joyful memory start rushing though your mind.

" ouch! It hurts and I still don't know how did it happen."
- I hurt my finger, AGAIN and as usual, I don't even know when or where I got the cut until it hurts.

"Perfect timetable."
- I have the perfect timetable I suppose, because this timetable allows me to stay so much in my second home, the library.

"My new best friend- purple pen."
- When I look at my notes, I realised how much my purple pen served me over the past 2 weeks and how pretty did it made my notes look like. :D

"I'm dating John."
- I'm making a commitment to read the Bible, the book of John, every night.

"Phone calls and shopping list."
- I need to make phone calls to lots of people to confirm things and I need to go shopping.

"My world paused as you came into it."
- A friend that I met out of the blue moon and changed my schedule of the day. It was so impact-ful and it just makes you keep thinking of that friend.

" I love you, my life."
- Life is unpredictable and that's the factor which makes life so interesting.

"It's so comfortable and I can just pop into wonderland in split second."
- My purple jacket given by my lovely friends as birthday present is just so comfy and I can just sleep in the library now.

Guess what I tweet-ed?
" I updated my blog, because I have too many little stories to tell." :)

Camera

What's your definition of a good camera? For many people, it will be an user friendly digital camera with a great feature called the AUTOMATIC mode and just allows you to snap pictures just like that (what we called- camhoring). Those where professional camera lovers will call dummy cameras.

But what I like is technically still a dummy camera, perhaps dummier than what normal people would expect out of a normal camera. It does snap pictures out a click and it only allows you to click it. Most of it is not digital, so that means still using films my friend. Professionals would once again praise: Oh, good. Picturing in films are still so much better than the mega-pixels that you're talking there! But wait, this type of camera does not have any function other than the click button and some don't even have flash light. Why would somebody want such a camera? Because the pictures that this wonder can take for you its just awesome. :D

What camera is this? It's a lomo camera.

How awesome can lomo pictures be? Not bad at all compared to professional cameras.

What so different from professional camera? OMG, my friend. Too much to list down. First thing first, the price. A normal lomo camera just ranges from RM 100-500 where a decent SLR will probably cost you RM3000, or even more. If you say: So what? Screw the price. Let's talk about picture quality. How can I trust a cheap camera and expecting good pictures? Yes you can, with lomo. The concept of lomo camera and all the SLRs are so different. Professionals would take at least 10 seconds for them to adjust and change the settings (the exposure, the ISO speed, etc, etc....) before he ever press the click button. Most of the time people will be smiling for years di just to wait for that picture to be done. But lomo, the major concept is: Don't care, just click it! Every picture has it's beauty in it. No such thing as a bad picture. You might be thinking: HUH? Are you nuts or something? How can I not think and just click it? but my settings are not right?! LOL. That will be the most contradicting point about SLR lovers n lomo lovers. They work totally opposite. Last but not least, SLR are like science students and lomos are like art students. Scientist goes by formulas and steps where else artist just goes by the mood of the moment. Professional camera aren't easy to handle. All SLR lovers spend lots of hours trying to learn how to take a good picture. Or else you're just clicking the button as if you're having a dummy camera. Lomo lovers wouldn't care less to learn. Every picture is a lesson by itself, whether or not it's clear/sharp/bright. Like Nike says: JUST DO IT!

I guess the debate between lomo and SLRs would never come to an end. But why on earth am I talking so much about these two? All I wanted to have all this while was to own a lomo camera. It doesn't need to be the best lomo. In fact I was just thinking to buy a super kawaii lomo camera (maybe even underwater camera). I love freestyle. BUT, it was until today when my dad told me he's thinking of selling off his current CANON dono what range and downgrade to Canon 550D or maybe spend a little bit more to buy a CANON 7D and in a year time, when I will be going to UK, he'll give me the camera.
You know how great is 550D? It even comes with video function!
Imagine those HD videos that you can make?! So cool!

Yes, I know 7D is way beyond awesome...

Say what? I will be getting a DSLR?! WOW. Normal teen: Wu! I love you, Dad! You're giving me the hottest and coolest 'toy' in town?! WOW! Weird teen: OMG, can't you just save your money and buy me lots of film to put into my lomo camera?!

Yes, without a doubt. I'm the weird kid here. Not being too crazy over expensive cameras and would just like to have a cheap camera. But I guess I'll be getting a really insane camera in a year time or so. I surely have a big task to do with that camera- I'll need to take lots of scenery when I travel to countries during my break time. YES. Ain't fun at all not be able to get what you dream for. Anyways, thanks in advance for the awesome camera DAD. I'll take the pictures you would like to see on facebook and I make sure I'll tag you. Please don't comment too much about technicals. You'll be giving me lots of pressure to just take a picture and really tempted to push it to automatic mode everytime.

Thank you and peacing out...

26.09.2010

Disclaimer: I love to write short stuff. No paragraphs. No plots. Not like a well structured stories. Maybe you can just consider this a compilation of tweets/ facebook status that I didn't get to post in a day because it will be spamming people's account with too many of MY stuff and I don't want people to hide my stories because I'm too annoying on that.

DOT, I'm gonna abuse you. Yes. DOT it. With style.

Hey DOT, whatcha doing there? You know what? I'll love to abuse you. hehe. blek. I'm gonna keep dotting. yes. keep on dotting. why? I love dots. Over question marks. Over commas. Over any other punctuation mark. Don't ask me why. I just LOVE you, DOT. DOT.

Instead of giving the sweart emoticon on fb or MSN, you can try to use DOT, DOT, DOT instead. Let me show you an example.

Substitute:

=.=" >>>>>> ...........

Doesn't it just looks more sweat/ zha dou to you? Yes? Yup. It definitely looks sweater to me with those .......... Yeah. Love those DOTS I just made up there................

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Plus, you can use DOTS in many different ways. Example 2. You wanna skip a line and start a new chapter? Try using DOT.

Like this:

Chapter 1

safovnaovngeovnaodhgaodnva.aafvneaonvanvg.anvanvgaeov.

..................................

Chapter 2
avnanv aovvghanvgaevgpa.a.vaohvn ao .avgah vp0na.

TATA~! Doesn't that looks so clear to you that the author is starting a new chapter? Yes. It does. Praise those DOTs. (O ya, you can use those dots I've shown you to sweat me instead now :D. Loving those DOTs too, don't cha?)

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Another great way to express youself is through making short sentence using DOTs. Lots of them. Just DOTs. No paragraph. No great English essay structure. Just be straight to the point. End it. And abuse those DOTs. Be care-free. Write with style. Give your readers some space for imagination. They can judge you too. By your DOTs. Just DOT it when you wanna end. DOT it. I repeat, DOT it. Thank you.

........................................................................................
..........................................................................
.............................................................
................................................
......................................
...........................
..................
...........
.....
..
.

Let me get this straight. I'm not trying to ask the younger generation to write short and ignore those punctuation that they've learnt in class. No. I didn't meant to do so. I'm just expressing the way I love the most. The most comfortable way I write. With DOTs. Whatever you say with my grammar. Whatever you say with my paragraphing. I don't care. I am ME. Not you. I please myself. I please my parents. I please God. I please the people that I love. I please the people that loves me. That's all. People that love me will respect my DOTs. I love my DOTs.

ps: I don't mean those DOTs that IT geeks will be talking about. I meant those commonly used FULL STOPS. Which I love to call it DOT. That's all.

For those layman that didn't know DOT LANGUAGE exist before this post, please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DOT_language and empower yourself with something I didn't know it exist before this post too.

peace out. thanks for the reading. hope you're not too annoyed. love those DOTs. There're cooler that the DOT LANGUAGE above. OK, I'm making my last FULL STOP.

I <3 .

Fruitful Day :D

Today is Monday, 26/7/2010. OK, cool~! I thought I will be super busy and overwhelmed by the amount of work to do for TLCMUN, but well, it worked out so much better I'm expected and I'm pretty much done with most of the physical work. Just so so happy now and I feel like now, my REAL holiday starts.... ^^

For those who actually followed my facebook status, my current status is "as easy as 1, 2, 3 (1 day, 2 bruises and 3 cuts)" haha? yes, that's how clumsy I can be.... Today wasn't a rough or outdoor day, yet I can physically abuse my body..... *sorry body~! :(* How did I got myself that way? I have no idea now also actually. When I reach uni today, as I was having my breakfast in Chills (oh, btw, the nasi goreng doesn't really taste good....) I saw my right hand with some bruises, so I guess I hurt myself when I was sleeping.... hmm, quite predictable actually... haha.... [the first bruise]

In the afternoon, my day just went pretty much with blade and ruler, cutting all tags and placards needed for the conference this Friday. Due to too much cutting, yup, my left index finger got swollen and get a minor cut, which I have no idea how I got it. [there goes the first cut and second bruise] Later, I saw my right index finger, with another cut?! I wonder was it paper cut or my blade just cut through my skin or something.... Thank God it didn't bleed or something.... [yup, that's my second cut]

The admin work went super ordinary smooth, thanks to Abby's guy friends helping out there :D
Was the last to go back and need to carry much stuff back to the Office, that's sure some exercise with my biceps XD. Went to grab my car and as I was walking *not concentrating fully*, I bang my leg to the divider nearby. It was a concrete one, so yup, my skin came off from a few toes on the right leg and it did hurt quite a bit when I was driving back home. [finally, the last cut, HAHA]

Surprisingly, I came back before 5p.m. with so many things happening today. I got things on my to-do-list done quicker than I thought. So, I guess my prayer this morning worked out perfectly well. Thank God for everything and I hope that tomorrow, I can really feel the hang of H-O-L-I-D-A-Y~! *yawn, I think I should sleep* {10 p.m.}

The Magic Microwave Cake :)

OK, I'm so so so so so FULL now~! Why? I think my portion of dinner can be my normal breakfast, lunch and dinner di.... What I ate? I ate dinner as usual, plus super big bowl of tong sui, durian, pear, and super awesome chocolate cake~!

HAHA, by the time my sis makes the cake, I was actually very full di, but I promised her that I'll leave some space in my tummy for that... so well... I ate at the end....

OK, so why am I making the title of the post "The Magic Microwave Cake"? Because this recipe that I'll going to share here is just unbelievable, until you try it yourself :D

Servings:
2 person
Ingredients: Flour, Sugar, 1 Egg, Milk, Sunflower/ Vegetable Oil, Baking Powder, Salt, Coco Powder
Utensils: 2 cups
Steps:
  1. Take 1 cup and fill it with 4 tablespoon of floor, 4 tablespoon of sugar, 3 tablespoon of coco powder, 1/2 tea spoon of baking powder, a pinch of salt. Then, pour 3 tablespoon of milk, 3 tablespoon of oil and 1 full egg into the mixture.
  2. Stir the mixture. (Don't need to air it much.)
  3. Split the mixture into another cup.
  4. Put both cups into the microwave for 40 secs- 1 minute. (The texture you should get it like normal sponge cake)
TATA, just by 4 simple steps, in less than 5 minutes, you got your hot and fresh cake on the go~!

The trick is dig in with another person in a cozy night (during winter will be such a sweet and warm thing to do XD). Eat it when it's hot will be the best....

Try it today peeps! It's real cool and simple! For guys, no excuse that you don't know how to do it. It can't go that wrong!!! :D Tell me reviews if you've tried it.

Friends

There are friends,
that you haven't met them for long,
and when you meet up with them,
out of the blue moon,
you can just talk non-stop,
catching up each other's life,
and sharing dreams of your own.

There are friends,
that have been there for you,
once upon a time,
when you was down and needed a shoulder,
and gave you the warmest hug,
told you the honest truth,
give you the best advice,
which made you who you are today.

There are friends,
that are not meant to be in your life everyday,
but have been through a special thing in life,
together with you,
which was so so significant,
that make feel you are so close to them,
even if you haven't see them in ages.

There are friends,
who you thought will be passerby in life,
but that one special day you spent with that friend,
made all the difference between both of you.

Friends,
need not be there sticking in your life everyday,
of course they're some which you stuck your life with them everyday.

All friends are different,
in their each unique way.
Even if some might have been far away from your life,
somehow, that memory that both of you share,
locks in your heart deep down,
and whenever you meet that friend again,
the warmth and happy memory of that incident,
will come out of the memory box,
and both of you will just rejoice in laughter,
and share more stories into that memory box.

I just want to shout out to all my friends:everyone of you is special in my life, even if we might not have been contacting for long, I THANK YOU for being a part of my life and continue to rock on in life with the bitter sweet memories we shared. I love all of you.... XD

我越来越贪心了。。。怎么办?

My Favourite Subject

I'm hungry now :( trying to prepare the essay question for General Principles of Law (GPL) paper but I'm just too fat, so Cheryl, NO FOOD PLEASE!!!

If you know law, and I tell you that I love GPL, in fact this is my favourite subject, I think you'll thought that I'm insane. I don't know why, I just like GPL. No stress for learning it I bet. Talking about anything possible on Earth about law and can still crap something out of the essays and score. I guess that's why I'm lovin it =)

But preparing for GPL paper is not an easy task, especially when there's time constraint. Well, I guess I'll just to need forgo my sleep time, again. What a big opportunity cost this is, to be thinking about your Contract Law Paper when the whole world is thinking of World Cup 2010 and Paul, the Octopus; to be thinking about your GPL paper when the whole world is about to sleep. Gosh, did I tell you before how much I dislike and disagree with UK based degree? Don't make me start to write a 1000 words essay about how much I disagree with it and you know what? The irony is that I am in fact studying one.... LOL, I know it sounds stupid but it's because I choose law, which UK is the best country you should go..... :s

OK, need to get back to work and continue writing my essay on European Community law. O ya, one thing also, did you know if UK did not enter into European Union, we don't event need to study this topic?! Sigh, live is never easy, being a law student >_<

A moment like this

Listening to one of my favourite song now, A Moment Like This. I came to know about this song through Leona Lewis's version which I think it's just so awesome song!!!

I'm falling in love with the position I'm sitting now in library. From this position, I can see a sneak peak of the view of part of the city (technically just building around uni) and seeing how the life in uni transit over time, as I sit here from day till night. Last night, during evening time, about 6.30 p.m. I suppose, the city looks so beautiful to me suddenly. I felt so peace and glad at some point that I'm here where I am, studying law and trying to understand what it is all about and how our lives are all evolving by it.

I think I'm falling in love with criminal essays now, just 3 days before final exam starts. Why? I guess once again I've prove that I'm a essay type of person. I've always enjoy writing argumentative essays since secondary school, which makes Chinese and Malay essay papers so easy to score but not English. I still remember in 1119 English during SPM, the choice for argumentative essays was just soooo limited, at most 2 out of the 5 choices, as majority prefer freestyle writing, which I will call emo-writers. Now, I don't know is this the right choice to prepare to write two criminal essay, as oppose to writing two problem question, which is the norm. But I guess I'm most comfortable with legal argumentative essays. Hmm, now I wonder will I qualify and like to be an academician, but I bet people that know me well, I'm not a person that likes to sit still and do work over the table. I love people, communicating in various ways. I am a leader and an outspoken person, which I love doing it so much, which scares guys away too in a way.... haha....

OK, I should get back to studying, continue falling in love with legal arguments I can come out with in Criminal Law :)

PS: I don't know why, whenever I share at the nice view (I think I'm the only one on earth will say this view is a nice view) I have the feeling to blog..... ^^ Wuhoo.... Happy day~!

Actually, I wonder who reads my blog.... haha... If you do, please drop me message to prove human does read my blog>>>>~! Thanks.

Scream Out Loud!

As I blog here, I have so many reasons to scream.

#1
Lucas just made me scream as he tap my back suddenly. Why will I scream, you wonder? I was concentrating writing my essay for Contract Fact Pattern and was on headphone. So, I wasn't aware about things around me. PS: It's in the library OK!? I think the whole floor can hear my screaming!!!

FINALS, FINALS, FINALS! It's in 3 days! and here I am, BLOGGING! :S well, I know I'm suppose to study, now I really am stressed out now. Friends around me is just freaking me out by the amount of cases they can recite out of nowhere, the amount of essays they're writing, the amount of knowledge they know about the topic..... I have none of it. I really really hope I wouldn't fail....

My shoulder is aching like nobody's business!!!! Sob.... Guess is something I need to live with it for life. I can't stop studying or typing in life because I have this problem right?! Gosh, I think I need yokoyoko or something to relax my poor muscles.....

OK, I'm just super random now.

I want to eat ice cream with someone, but I don't have time to do so.

I saw where did the cows are now..... after them renting the car park to taylor's, the cows are further down the road now... now I know why we don't smell those moo moo smell anymore everyday~!

I can't wait till subway, face2face, starbucks, baskin robbins and all the shops in commercial block opens!

I can't wait till I can sleep like nobody's business after exam.

I want to get high heels, but everyone will scold me for doing so, as if I'm not tall enough. BUT, why must tall girls deprive from the right from want to look pretty on heels?! Not my fault for being tall right?

I am cold here in library and wish the chairs was bigger as I can't put my feet up :S

I just love chocolate and wish I have it with me now....

The mentos I ate just now does not taste like it suppose to be. It's mint flavour but taste like strawberry.

I want to finish my studies tonight but I'm afraid I can't finish and bed will be calling me from the very moment I see it....

OK, that's how random I can be. I feel like calling everyone I know and tell them I miss them. I know, I'm random..... ^^

Little Things to Laugh About =D

Well, this post it's gonna be super random, but my purpose is to put a SMILE on your face! =DDid you see the braces? Owh well, obviously my smile wouldn't be like that, I never wear those plastic-metal thingy before?! Maybe it might be yours... ^^

~*~*~*~

My shoulder is aching badly now.... ache, ache, ache.... One of my friend asked why on MSN and I thought I told him before AND guess what's his reply: Owh, bones no milk =s
Science Fact: Bones needs CALCIUM in order to stay strong. Plus, my shoulder aching is due to muscle straining too much?! Nothing to do with milk or bones....

~*~*~*~

My eldest sister called just now, from Greece apparently, to ask me to scan her driving license to her. She must be not thinking straight there. (1) We don't have a scanner at home, so that means we can only scan like when? Monday?! Gosh, don't think she'll need it by then. (2) My mom must be thinking: "What's this baby trying to do? Drive at a foreign country? Is she insane or something?! Owh well, cut the long story short, I geniusly took pictures of her license and emailed it to her. I must praise my efficiency for that! LOLZ...
So, why did she wanted to get her license? NO, she's not renting a car, she's renting a ATV. Googled it and found WOW, it's quite a rough vehicle to sit on! Looks super manly and wild! Then I wondered, did anyone make it more girly? YES, check this pink-until-you-can-faint PINK ATV!

So my next question was, HUH? They have about 5 of them, how are they gonna drive/transport everyone around the island with such a small vehicle. My only answer from google was this.... A carrier perhaps?? Hahahahaha....

I was facebooking when my finals is in 30 days and saw this awesome link my friend post on facebook! Now, all girls can find a reason to watch World Cup. The title of the post should be: Dummy's Guidebook for Girls about FIFA World Cup 2010. I'm now contemplating whether to sleep or to stay till 2.30a.m. where England vs USA is coming! Oh, the USA player is sooo hot! loves~!

Song of the Day: Happiness

Was listening to Z-Chen 张智成, one of my all time favourite male artist.
A very simple, light and easy song, 快乐, which means happiness.、

(Verse 2)
你是你自己的作者
何必写那么难演的剧本
别怪话说的太多了
我只是不要你不快乐

Translation:
You're the author of your life
Why did you choose to write such a difficult script to play?
Bear with my wordiness,
I just don't want to see you being sad

I feel is indeed so true, we always stress up ourselves with the most petty thing on earth. There's always two sides or even more to look at a matter, why don't we choose to look at the easy side and make our life simpler?

Simple is happy =D

Up, Downs and Jokes

It's basically a summary of what I've remembered on the last day of May 2010.

7.00 a.m. [The Joke]
Woke up late this norming. My last dream was about me promoting about the Beauty Unified Week. Wanna know more? Check out http://tlcmun.blogspot.com/

7.35 a.m. [The Up]
Got to morning prayers ON TIME! Praise Lord for that!

8.10 a.m. [The Joke]
Tort Lecture. Elaine's phone rang. Heama's lovely reply:"Owh, there are some entertainment in the class, huh?" You can't find another gentle and motherly lecture in Law School in TLC. Sadly, that was our very last tort lecture ='( Miss Heama even ter-press 'THE END' slide too early. She dragged on the lecture about 10 minute before re-clicking on the "THE END" again, and this time, it is the real ending of our tort lecture (for life, I hope!) I'll sure miss Miss Heama as my Tort Lecturer! (PS: not that sad YET as we'll still see her for revision and tutorials)

9.35 a.m. [The Down]
Decided to go for Criminal Tutorial today. Went to Mun Onn and told him. He said OK after me saying I'm prepared for the tutorial. Mark those words! I failed!

10.05 a.m. [The Joke]
Criminal Tutorial. Mun Onn started with his jokes. Not getting why will people want to click the 'reply all' button when a chain email is reporting something and just to say 'Well done' or 'thanks for informing'. Another lame joke of Mun Onn: the issue of Miss Take (mistake)

11.00 a.m. [The Down]
Criminal Tutorial. We did not answer Mun Onn on the 3rd question. He got upset. Sad down and somehow did not give the answer and moved on to the problem solving question. Problem Solving Question: Did not wanna layan anyone so just asked me to say my answers. He said many 'OK' and 'what's next, Cheryl?' and that was about it for problem solving question.

12.00 p.m. [The Down]
We ended up being in the tutorial for 2 hours instead of 1.30 hours. WOW! It's all because he was upset. We failed him. And I terasa banyak because I made a statement to him saying I'm prepared.

12.30 p.m. [The Down]
We couldn't find Mr. Keat Meng, which means we need to depend on ourselves to make the Law Ball happen. Well, I think I'm still not quite settle as the Co-Event Manager of Law Society. I'm new and knows nuts about organising a prom. Lord Father, I need help!

2 p.m. [The Down!!!]
Was trying to get the food issue done with about TLCMUN Conference in July/August. Went to many places. Asking people to open on Saturday and Sunday just for your event is not easy. Went to Recezz and they demand for a letter to their boss. Went to Truffles, the lecturer in charge was so nice and say it can be arranged but need to check with their divisional office. Went to the Divisional Office of Hospitality and Tourism, the Deputy Dean screwed me kao kao by saying the lunch can be served only if it's RM35 per pax. I was stupid enough to say RM5, should have said RM10 per pax. But either way I was not on his pace of thought. Went to Desert Bar, finally we are talking business. The boss of their sounds interested but need to get back to us soon. Pray that that will happen and we need not cater for conference. (Big money and we are young and poor club!)

3.45 p.m. [The Up? or The Down?.... I think is The Joke]
Needed to fetch the twins from school. It was raining still and I know it's cold, Eric. But I was leaving TLC and caught up in a jam, in the campus itself, YES, Taylors is capable to jam up itself! Well, it was raining but that was not the cause of the jam. It's always jammed at 4-ish and 6-ish. TLC do have their peak hours too! That's show how big is this community! Woosh! Well, bored in the jam and tuned up the radio and realise I like even number more than odd number, except for 5... I switch my volume to 22.... 24.... 25.... 20..... haha....

4.30 p.m. [The Joke]
Was waiting for the kids to come out from school. Well, technically I drove into the school compound because it was raining. I was trying to look hard for them but couldn't find them after 10 minutes there and 10 minutes after school ended. Got worried and called mom and guess what? Dad picked them up! Miscommunication somewhere within the family =.=' OK, so I got back to the jam and reached home by 5 p.m. {So that means I was stuck in the jam for an hour plus, it's just within Sunway and Subang BTW!!!}

Conclusion:
Well, we live in this world everyday. To get through one whole year, we need to eat, sleep, talk and walk repeatedly like endless times. However, if you sit back and reflect your daily life, you may discover your life to be quite interesting, even little jokes and boring part can be meaningful.

Moral of the Story:
Your life can be worse than this! So, be blessed about your life and be happy! =D

Interview wtih The Author of Corners of Memories

Following in a groundbreaking and exclusive interview done with the very own author of the blog. Enjoy knowing bits of the author by reading how she exposes her personality and idea of this blog.
- 17 May 2010, The Magaz -

Question: Owh well Cheryl, here you are, trying to start of a new blog. BUT why?
Answer:
Erm, I guess my old blog is just too dead and I want to start a new chapter of life? A new and bright one =D

Editor's Comment: Cool, very typical answer. (Grade: 100% lame)

-

Question: So, what will be the blog contain of?
Answer: Like what my blog's title says, I will be sharing the memories of my life, updating my friends and such about bits of my life. Basically very typical teen's blog.

Editor's Comment: Owh well, another 'duh' answer but I'm sure those who really care for her will like to still know.

-

Question:OooKkkk, teen huh? Hmm.... So any house-keeping rules for this blog? As in any comments cannot be post or copyright issues?
Answer:
Well, I just want my readers to be casual. No problem with posting comments that might not sound good to me. Just pour whatever is in your mind, even it hurts me. Just express yourself as who you are, that's the important rule =D. As for copyright issues... hmm... maybe just kindly asking me if you want to repost my publish? That's not too much to ask for right? hahaha....

Editor's Comment:Wow, she's like trying to be a nice girl. Wait till people really comment badly about her. See how can she takes it.... nyekhehehe....

-

Question:It's certainly not. Everybody should be respected. Just one last question, how frequent will the updates be? I'm asking on behalf of the convenience of the readers, hope you understand.
Answer:Haha, I certainly do understand but it really depends on the availability of my time and things that have been happening around me. All depends on FEELINGS kan? But I'll try my best to at least update twice a month? If you see my posts are quite frequent, pick one of the following reasons: (1) I'm too free or on holiday, (2) I'm being emo (3) My life is just too happening! I hope is always the 3rd one but who knows what will be your tomorrow right? ^^

Editor's Comment:OK readers, she's not really an ACTIVE blogger. Just AMATEUR, so don't spend too much time on this blog by checking everyday.

Hope you've enjoyed the interview,
Editor YZ of Magaz
