Can you feel my world?

。。 U Love Me?

Love, love, love,

One of these days,

Kiss Goodbye,

My Belated New Year Resolution

It's February already, without realising. I guess like old people used to say, when you grow up, years pass by faster and faster each year. So I guess is time for me to cherish every moment in life. The happiness in life is the greatest gift.

So, my new year resolution is to Smile!

Smile to everyone.
Smile keeps one positive.
Smile is influential.
Smile is powerful.
Smile is joy. :)

比才智,比美貌;

我是懦弱的人;
也许,
我是不爱面对现实的人;

~~~~~
唱。
也许说我热爱唱歌,
不如说我热爱音乐带来的生命力,
可以逃脱现实的烦恼,
逃脱去别人的故事里。
爱唱歌,
可以当饭吃吗?
妈妈说不能。
但是为什么哥哥姐姐们,
都去当歌手了呢?
歌手、明星、音乐人,
你爱哪个称呼呢?
一切感觉太复杂了,
所以聆听者,
最无牵挂。
~~~~~

Childhood vs Future

Suddenly, I think of playing masak-masak. Yes, believe your eyes, is masak-masak. The game kids play out of paper and plastic and pretending they are cooking. I guess I'm missing some childhood memory here.

Got my random that day and watch this on Youtube and I told myself: "Ah~! They were my childhood idol! Gosh... it's so long a go already! We've all grown up and so does things around me. Those days, we listen to music using cassettes! And walala, we have internet now and would can never imagine life without it anymore." *sighs*

Just realised something just now, I think I have a 'thing' for guys that plays/ sings well. I'm definitely those girls that fall for guys that takes a guitar and sings love songs in front of me. Haha. So typical right? Ah~! But the best part of it is, I'll love to sing along with him too! So I suppose, another criteria to my BF-checklist is need to love singing Karaoke, since my whole family does that. It's gonna be part of our very own Chin family activity I tell you! I ain't kidding! Imagine your uncle will be singing an oldies and your auntie pops in and sing along and soon enough you see from the youngest cousin to your grandma is opening their mouth and singing the same song. Gosh. Imagine that and what you see is my lovely family. :D I love them lots~!!! *muaks*

Keeping things short!

Urgh! I need to complain about myself. I always attempt to write posts and tend to write so damn long till I always make the flow of thought gone in the half way because I got distracted by other stuff.

So from now on, I'll learn to keep posts short and sweet. Good for my readers (if any) and good for me too. Hope this will make me write more often. Like one of my friend once said: how can life be interesting when one can't even write and express his/ her feelings?

OK, my first short post here.

I was glad today spending quality times with people I care for in life. :D

I know I don't need to worry about how my Mr. Right should be because I know He will provide the man in my life. :D

Let's talk about bananazzz

Disclaimer: You do not need to agree with my theories and I would welcome (and feel honoured) if you would like to debunk all my ideas. I got inspired my a friend, which I call him the "Absolute Banana". This idea will be discussed further in the article. :)

Definition of Banana
Banana, in general is a fruit, the yellow slimy fruit we see in tropical countries. *side track: just if you don't know, 7-eleven sells his super quality Dole Banana for RM1. It's really good fruit! :D Buy one and stay healthy peeps!* However, the banana that I'm trying to talk about is those Chinese that don't know how to speak their mother tongue. Why they're called banana? Very simple! Banana is yellow in the outside but white in the inside, just like them where they looks Chinese with their yellow skin but they talk like a white. :)

Categories of Banana people:

1. Absolute Banana
Absolute bananas are those which couldn't speak and listen to any Mandarin and dialects at all. Other than "Wo Ai Ni" [I Love You] and "Wo bu zhi dao" [I don't know], they basically knows nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! They don't watch any TVB dramas or know anything about Chinese culture. Most of the time, their parents are bananas themselves too, but most probably does not include in this category. Absolute bananas can be seen as knowing nothing about being a Chinese. There are a White-man living in a Yellow-man's body.

2. Normal Banana
Normal bananas are those that know a bit of everything. They may know how to listen to some Mandarin or any dialects. Most of these bananas went to Kebangsaan schools. So, they only know English and BM. Grandparents might only speak in dialects and aunties will be talking in dialects during family gathering such as Chinese New Year. So, throughout the years, they get a hint of what people are trying to mean out of their talking in Mandarin or dialects. Most of the bananas are in this category (I hope), so they're normal bananas.

3. Half Banana
Half bananas are those who speaks a bit of Mandarin or a bit of dialects (to some extent, fluent enough to make a conversation). Some of this type of bananas are unfortunate to get a Chinese education but still was able to learn some mother tongue throughout the years. They may not be as fluent as those learnt it properly, but they know a bit more than the other 2 categories of bananas. *applause*

So friend,
which category you belong to? I hope I didn't insult anybody. This distinction is just an analysis of mine. Some might ask, why we need Chinese when English is the international language? Yup, I agree with you that English is the most commonly spoken language. Nevertheless, I am proud to be a Chinese that speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka. I can say I'm proud to be a Chinese. I'm not saying being a banana is a sin or something, I'm just trying to define how westernised some of the Chinese are today.
